This private Guest Guide will help you prepare for your stay, share your preferences, and begin imagining your time on the island. Take your time exploring this guide. Getting to Deeper Love Private Island Resort
We will have a driver waiting for you upon arrival at Santo-Pekoa Airport in Luganville at 12:50 on September 17, 2026. The car will take you to Oyster Landing, where you will be transported with your luggage by barge to Deeper Love Resort. It’s about a thirty minute car ride and a five minute boat ride. Nansi and I will be waiting there to personally welcome you and give you a quick orientation, then we’ll leave you to your island.
Bridely, our Resort Manager, will also be there to welcome you. If you haven’t been to Santo before, Bridely is a wealth of information. He grew up playing on Molono Island as a child, worked as a tour guide at the blue holes, and seems to be friends with nearly every one of Santo’s 80,000 residents. His father is a prominent chief in the area, and the Kastom Owner of Molono.
**Note: Arriving at Deeper Love is a Beach Landing. It’s not especially adventureous, but it is possible you’ll get wet up to your knees if the surf is uncommonly high, or walking on broken coral if the tide is especially low. We will provide new reef shoes for you at the landing which will be yours to use for your stay, and keep when you depart. If you’d rather leave them behind we will pass them along to locals who will treasure them for years to come.
We’ll also give you phone numbers for Bridely and for his wife Lucy, who is our head of Kitchen & Housekeeping. In addition to the phone numbers, there is a two-way radio on the island you can use to contact them at any time, day or night, for any reason at all. Nansi and I will be staying at our home next to Turtle Bay Lodge. My international number (also my WhatsApp) is 1-805-657-5385 and my local number is 678-0712-1967, just so you have it.
When your stay is over, we have arranged your return to the airport, leaving Molono at 10:15 on September 24 to get you to the airport by 11:00 for your 13:50 flight home. If you’d like to arrive in Luganville earlier for any reason (like having lunch in town before your trip), just give us a heads up by the day before so we can make sure your ride is available and on time.
Experiences
We’ve included guided and unguided snorkels, all boats, kayaks, SUPs and East Santo excursions as part of your stay. Activities with our local partners may require advance arrangements. If there's something that's especially important to your stay, we'd encourage you to let us know before your arrival so we can do our best to make the necessary arrangements.
Please note that these third-party activities are not included in your Deeper Love stay.
